My setup fee and maintenance fees are very simple and we are always willing to work with the individual.
Basic Internet Website Price List
$425.00 one time setup fee – $200. paid in advance, balance upon completion
Internet Website Construction Includes
- Registration & design of website
- Homepage setup and up to 9 additional tab pages such as photo page, Capitol Report's, Press Releases, etc…
- Up to an additional 20 hidden pages that are visable only by clicking links on your main pages
- Links to outside websites (you provide sites you want)
- Tagging of tabbed web pages for searches (helps people find your site when searching)
- Uploading and installation of video and audio material (max 9meg per upload)
- Uploading of pictures and captions your provide
- Up to 400 MB web space (most sites limit you to 100 MB)
- Custom Icons as needed
- 1 custom header
Monthly Maintenance Fee Includes
There are two different monthly plans available.
If you feel you are going to have more than 20 additions/changes per month we can come to an agreement on that cost. Most people use the $110.00 plan. An addition/change would be uploading a photo, a document, posting an announcment, etc... We are very flexible and if someone goes over their limit a few times, we don't worry about it. If it becomes common then we will need to visit about a new rate.
ALL Monthly Plans Include:
- Maintenance of inside links (page to page)
- Removal of old material (example: If you want 5 weekly articles available at any given time, when a new one is posted the oldest would be removed)
- Uploading of pictures, audio, video, press releases, documents, etc… that you provide. All pictures, audio, and video will be posted as received.
- Updates will be posted normally within 2 days, usually within 12 hours. If on occasion you have something that needs immediate posting let me know and we will work it out in almost every case.
- Unlike almost all providers, web hosting is included in the monthly plan.
- Unless you request additional custom banners, surveys, things like that, there is no additional charge. If you question if something is included just ask, but our plans are pretty weel all inclusive. You will know any extra charges BEFORE the service is completed, no surprises.
Notes:
Domain Name: I will take care of getting you a domain name that you approve. You will be responsible for the actual cost, I make nothing on it, the service of getting it is free for you. You will provide me with a few different names and I will get one if available, if not we will check other names. If you currently have a domain I will try to transfer it to the new sight but often that is a problem so you may still have to get a new domain. Domain names normally cost around $12.00 per year to register, you can save a few bucks if you do 3 years at a time often.
Information for Your Site: You will provide information you want on the site for setup to me by e-mail, along with any preferences you might have for location of the material, if you have a preference. If not, I will do the design for them.
You will provide updates such as photos, press releases, audio, video, etc… to me via e-mail. Documents should be in Microsoft Word format, audio should be in .mp3 format and video should be in .wmv format. No single download of a document, audio or video can be over 9 MB per download.
Some logos can be uploaded and some cannot, simply put, I will do my best.
Most find the best way to keep their sites current is to have me added to their Press Release list so I receive the informaiton when the media does so it can be posted. That, along with sending photos and captions for them, and announcments of upcoming events will keep your site current and people coming back.
Traffic: Traffic to your site is important. The more it is clicked on and used, the more traffice it will start to generate on it's own because it's ranking on the internet will increase. I suggest adding your website address to everything you put out. You can list is as a way to contact you, on your letterhead, advertising...EVERYTHING. I would also suggest a press release saying that you are launching a new website, that will get it an inital boost.
Metatags are keywords that are used when searching that will help people find your site. As a part of the monthly service these will be embedded in your site pages and kept current by us in an effort to generate traffic to you.
Billing: You will receive a bill and detailed information for the one-time setup. Then, you will receive a monthly bill that will show in general catagories the changes that were made in the past month along with a traffic report. Unlike almost all other sites, I bill after the month is over instead of you paying before that months services have been given.
Donations/Payments: If you have a PayPal account (which is easy to obtain) we can set up a "Donations" page so people can make donations to you online. With PayPal your contributors can pay with either their debit cards or credit cards to make donations to you at a minimal fee to PayPal. I receive no commission, my only role in your contributions will be setting up the links so it is possible for you. If you don't have a PayPal account you can check it out at www.PayPal.com.

Additional Services:
Videos: Videos can be uploaded, larger files can result in additional costs per month for hosting reasons. You will know those additional charges before the videos are posted. The charges normally are minimal.
